Voltors a dojo!

Ahir vaig fer el rècord de més voltors observats a la comarca del Pla de l'Estany. Només baixar de l'autobús, vaig veure prop de vint rapinyaires volant per sobre Melianta. En arribar a casa, vaig agafar la càmera i vaig apropar-ne un. No m'ho podia creure. Eren voltors comuns (Gyps fulvus), una espècie que no es veu gaire a la comarca, i a sobre en vaig contar almenys 26. Van voltar pel Pla de Martís una estona. Després vaig anar a classes de dibuix i ja no hi eren, no sé on van anar.

He consultat l'ornitho i efectivament, és la vegada registrada en la que s'han vist més voltors junts. És ben estrany veure'n tants fora del Prepirineu o el Pirineu, em pregunto perquè van venir. Els següents dies vigilaré per si tornen!


Yesterday I made the record of vultures ever recorded in Pla de l'Estany, the Catalan region where I live. Just when I got off the bus, I saw about twenty birds of prey flying over Melianta, a village in Pla de l'Estany. When I got home, I grabbed the camera and I zommed one of them. I could'nt believe. They were all Griffon vultures (Gyps fulvus), a rare species in the region, and there were at least 26. I watched them fly over the zone during a while, and then I went to drawing classes. When I came back they weren't there, and I don't know where they went. 

I checked all the vulture observations in the region in ornitho and it's the time that more vultures have been seen together. It's rare too see these birds outside of the Pre-Pyrenees or the Pyrenees, I wonder why did they came. The following days I'll try to see them again!
