Avui m'he animat a participar al projecte "Nius".
És un seguiment dels nius de tot Catalunya iniciat per l'Institut Català d'Ornitologia. Participar és molt senzill: si coneixes algun niu prop de casa teva i fa temps que l'observes, pots recollir les dades necessàries i enviar-les. Jo coneixia uns nius de cadernera que tenien un fàcil accés, i amb una hora ja he recollit i enviat totes les dades. Com veieu, és molt ràpid.

També podeu participar censant les orenetes cuablanques de la zona de casa vostra i enviant la informació a aquesta altra pàgina, també de l'ICO: http://www.orenetes.cat/
És una mica més complicat, perquè has de censar tota una zona, i de vegades cal una estona per confirmar que un niu és actiu, però val la pena.
Today I have encouraged to take part in the project "Nius".
This project was launched by the Institut Català d'Ornitologia. Participating is very easy: if you know any nests near your house, you can collect the required data and send them to the web.
I knew an European Goldfinch nest that has an easy access and an hour later I collected all the data and I sent them. As you can see, it's very fast.
In case you decide to take part of this project, I pass you the link to the website: http://www.nius.cat/. You can also help doing a census of the common house martins of the area of your home and sending the information you collect in this other website, also launched by the ICO: http://www.orenetes.cat/
It's a bit more complicated, because you have to do the census of a bigger zone, and sometimes you need some time to confirm that a nest is active, but you can try it.
